Counting down to January 2024 - 50th Anniversary - Original Dungeons & Dragons

Still counting down to the 50th Anniversary of the Original Dungeons & Dragons in a January 2024. Will WotC step up and be part of that, lead it even? Not likely, they are giving every indication they they are going to drop the ball and what little they do will be inappropriate and snide.

No IMO, if there is any real celebration and if the creators who are still around are honored it will be up to the fans to do it. Their OGL failure indicates that they have not got a clue about their fan base and they do not understand D&D, especially they are ignorant of its roots.

So just throwing it out there, what are your plans for the 50th Birthday of OD&D? Do you have something planned? Have you thought about it yet?

January 2024 - 50th Anniversary - Original Dungeons & Dragons (counting down the year till then)

Let's count down the year between now and January 2024 when the 50th Anniversary of OD&D occurs. Just throwing it out there, one post a month minimum for the whole year of 2023 leading up to the 50th Anniversary of OD&D and then one post a month for all of 2024. Let's not let it be forgotten. Because you can bet (IMO) that WotC will forget to celebrate the anniversary they should celebrate. And the people they should celebrate. They may forget, but we won't forget.
